Scott P. George

Mr. George has over 25 years of investment banking experience and has advised on more than 250 transactions involving mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, fairness opinions, going private transactions, and various types of public and private financing transactions. He also has extensive experience with IPOs including those involving Special Purpose Acquisition Companies (SPACs).

Immediately prior to joining P&M Corporate Finance, Mr. George served as Managing Director and Co-Head of the Chicago Office of Morgan Joseph & Co. and before that as Senior Managing Director and National Practice Leader of Ernst & Young’s Mergers & Acquisition and Capital Markets Groups. Mr. George also spent almost 15 years with Salomon Brothers Inc, Morgan Stanley and Bankers Trust Co. (in each case in the Corporate Finance or M&A groups of the firm).

While functioning as a generalist investment banker throughout most of his career, Mr. George has considerable experience in the Business Services, Consumer and Industrial sectors. Mr. George graduated from Northwestern University with a BA degree in Economics and earned his MBA from The University of Chicago Graduate School of Business.
