P&M Corporate Finance Wins "Boutique Investment Banking Firm of the Year" Award

CHICAGO, Illinois — P&M Corporate Finance, LLC was named winner of the “Boutique Investment Banking Firm of the Year” award by M&A Advisor for its notable success in serving the investment banking needs of middle market businesses in 2010. P&M Corporate Finance was selected as the winner from a group of nine finalists. The ceremony was held at the M&A Advisor Awards and Summit ceremony in New York City.

P&M Corporate Finance closed 12 transactions during the period reviewed by M&A Advisor, including advising Hillenbrand, Inc. on its $435 million acquisition of K-Tron International, Inc. Other transactions included Borisch Manufacturing Corporation’s sale to Amphenol Corporation, Comar, Inc.’s acquisition of Universal Container Corporation, Spartech Corporation’s sale of its Wheels Division to Hamilton Robinson Capital Partners and its Profiles Division to Acrylon Plastics, Outside Hub Holding’s recapitalization by MK Capital and Ames Goldsmith Corporation’s equity recapitalization, among others.
 
The M&A Advisor Awards Gala recognizes and celebrates the world’s top dealmakers, deal teams and firms for the top transactions of the year. An independent body of expert judges evaluated the 243 finalists that were identified for 47 awards in the categories of M&A transactions, dealmakers and service providers.
 
P&M Corporate Finance also was recently recognized by the Americas M&A Atlas Awards for advising Hillenbrand in its acquisition of K-Tron in the “Manufacturing Deal of the Year” for 2010.
